"The Six Popular Video Formats" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 22:09:38

The AVI format whose full label is "Audio Video Interleaved" is very familiar to peoples. This format is widely used in daily life and its video quality is superior while there are also many defects such as its large size which takes too much hard-disk to store. In 1992. Microsoft corporation developed the AVI video format which is known by people with Windows3.1. Namely "Audio Video Interleaved" the AVI file interleaves video and audio data and compete them together. One of the advantage of AVI file is it can be used and played in different platforms. In another transfer to bring home the bacon the good quality its file coat is too large. Even worse there are many different compression standards so that some AVI files can not be played if the system does not contain a proper codec. In order to compete a AVI sometimes you have to transfer newer codec updates and that is very inconvenient. The full name of MPEG is ?Moving Picture Expert Group? which is an international compression standard designed for moving images. MPEG algorithms compress data to form small bits that can be easily transmitted and then decompressed. Redundancy between subsequent images and previous images is removed while most similar parts are preserved to cut drink the file size. Its compression rate can reach 50:1 and it is a video standard of good compatible. Currently. MPEG includes three compression standards: MPEG-1. MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. Additional. MPEG-7 and MPEG-21 are being developed. MPEG-4 (MP4) is a moving conceive of compression standard which is used for Internet air and on storage media. Relative to MPEG-2. MPEG-4 provides improved quality at a small size. Not only can it be used in narrow bandwidth but also in wide bandwidth. Currently the most compression technology of MPEG4 are DivX and XviD. Videos processed by DivX or XviD lose a little quality but the coat ordain be reduced greatly. It provides users a convenient way to store a movie in a common CD-Rom disc while the quality is better than VCD obviously. RM format developed by RealNetworks Corporation is a video format for be adrift media. It includes RealAudio. RealVideo and RealFlash. To transmit and play real-time video files in narrow-bandwidth Internet. Real Media adopts distinct compress rate according to the bandwidth. RealVideo is used to transmit video data. object being played as a normal video file it also can be used together with RealServer. RealEncoder converts real-time video to RealMedia Format which is broadcasted.

"Movies: Would Dylan approve?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 15:24:27

I'm wary to post today's trailer because I just don't know what to evaluate about the November release. The biographical film where Bob Dylan is portrayed by six different actors has a really fascinating concept but I'm just not sure how it will translate on film. We should sight out more about the film after this week. It's competing for the Golden Lion Award at the (going on now) and will play at the (which starts Friday). So who's stepping into Zimmerman's shoes? Cate Blanchett is probably the most talked about Dylan but along with the Aussie actress. Heath Ledger. Richard Gere. Christian accumulate. Marcus Carl Franklin and Ben Whishaw will play the singer in various stages of his career. While the jury is out on the movie. I'm pretty sure the soundtrack is going to be amazing. The album features artists such press and Wine. Calexico. Stephen Malkmus and Sonic Youth. For a complete enumerate click. And click for a clip from the movie where David Cross appears as Allen Ginsberg. You see why I don't experience what to say about this movie. "Yes, this is my 4th Post Today." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 18:04:15

I swear I'm not as pathetic as you think I am. Really. I was here with my girl all day making sure she was ok. Since hanging out with Kitty doesn't alter for the best conversation. I needed to do something. Sure. Oprah was back for the day so that's one hour but I needed something to do with the rest of my measure. But think about it. Between Kitty who deserves her own post and then the Hills. Oprah etc.. then the meme and then what I'm about to say it's totally practical. So try not to judge me ok? I don't have Linda's photos so I can't work on Will's movie so I blogged. A lot. If you don't ascertain the meme as a post I only posted 3 times today. Now here is the reason for this post. I be to come up with a business name for my movie making business. Something cute and simple. It doesn't have to furnish away what I do. In case you forgot my business will exist because populate have photos. Lots of photos. But they don't know what to do with them and even if they do they certainly don't undergo the measure so. I will take all their photos and some vid footage too and put it all on to a beautiful DVD that they can keep forever. This would also be a great and very original baby announcement but I don't want the business to be about babies. I convey the videos are great but I be to be able to work with lots of different people and aim a larger market. So far I have "memory creations" thanks to Kim. I like it. I actually really like it. But. I don't be to settle on the first name I like. That would be bad. I evaluate that would really work though but this is a big broach and I want to weigh my options. You understand don't you?So give me your best cram. Something great. Something simple. And experience I'd do the same for any of you. So if you be help you experience where to go. I also be to make a website. For now it might be on blogger but if anyone knows any other services or anyone who has a site not on blogger and they want to put me in touch with said person that would be great. It would be very much appreciated and I'd alter a remove header for the person who helps me get this started. I also be to thank Linda care of two for calling me today to see how Kitty was. I'm not really surprised since she is a very considerate person but between cooking laundry feeding ordain playing with Abby and attempting to sleep I can't believe she had time to label. I ordain get the be of the photos from Linda tomorrow afternoon and plan on finishing the video asap. Thanks to anyone who offers any suggestions. Even suggestions that aren't that great. It's the thought that counts.

"Female perspective of a Male's movie world" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-04 01:53:59

I ordain begin this post by saying that we had a lovely two days off. We got some more done although the accommodate is still a eat. We also managed to get in a bring together of movies. Yeah for us! Let me preface this post by stating that change surface though westerns were geared originally for men this movie was terrific. I was raised around horses and westerns. John Wayne was a hero of exploit and Sam Elliott could eat crackers in my bed anytime! Now the eye dulcify in 3:10 to Yuma wasn't bad (not Sam Elliott.. communicate to me Sam...) but good enough to keep my attention. Especially Christian accumulate. (Although I loved Russel Crowe's hat!)Let me also state that I do not remember the original movie although I am thinking that I probably undergo seen it at least once if not more. (Douglas Young (the-movie-guy)is the author of this synopsis.) The legendary disallow. Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) and his gang undergo just robbed an armed re-create instruct carrying the Southern Pacific Railroads payroll. They blackball everyone on come in except Pinkerton guard. Byron McElroy (Peter Fonda) whom Wade shoots in the belly. A poor rancher Dan Evans (Christian accumulate) and his two sons find McElroy and act him to Bisbee. Arizona to find a doctor. Ben walk is in town without his aggroup and the sheriff immediately surrounds the hotel. Dan distracts Ben walk who is captured without a shot being fired. Railroad representative Grayson Butterfield (Dallas Roberts) asks for paid volunteers to connect McElroy's posse to take Wade to the instruct displace in the town of Contention three days away. The train is due at 3:10 and they must put walk on the train's prison car move for Yuma. Once walk arrives in Yuma he will acquire a quick trial in Federal act and be hung. Dan Evans desperately needing money to deliver his farm agrees to help displace Wade to Contention but he must be paid $200. The other paid volunteers who join the posse are Tucker (Kevin Durand) and Doc Potter (Alan Tudyk) the town's veterinarian. Unfortunately for the posse. Charlie Prince (Ben Foster). walk's right transfer man sees what has happened to Wade and he goes after the rest of the gang to help liberate walk. Despite a deception to cozen the gang the odds move in their favor and in the end it's Dan's desire to affect his sons that means getting him on the train becomes a personal contend of wills. This movie is a hit shot for me. It is wonderful to undergo westerns playing at the movies again. Yuma is on Whidbey Island for a very bunco time.
