"I'm asked a lot what the beat thing about cooking for a living is. And it's this: to be a part of a subculture. To be part of a historical continuum a secret society with its own language and customs." well it's an interesting answer.. but it could be the answer to almost anything - why do you like to have religion? why do you desire to be a computer programmer? why do you desire to be an artist? why do you write poetry? why do you compete MMOs? .... it's thought provoking but it's not the answer to why he likes to COOK. maybe it is why he likes to cook he could've tried many things realized he was good at cooking and then thought: i want to be part of a subculture hence all of the foods he wanted to be part of something and now he is maybe this makes more sense to me because it's how i feel about certain things maybe it's not the only cerebrate but it could be a big one being able to do something very few people can do well is a reward in and of itself. Although using iBrickr or iFuntastic to get files and applications on and off your is fine it's sort of a pain to have to dock it every hit time you've got a new NES ROM you want to play. There's an easier way thanks to the remote tool that Linux and Unix users undergo been using since 1934. With this you can browse and write files to and from your phone with either a command line or change surface a FTP client that supports. Here's what you do. Connecting to the command line:The first step is to jailbreak your telecommunicate. Jesus's will get you started with both AppTapp for Mac and iBrickr for Windows. They're both just as good. If you're on Windows and using iBrickr you have to go to the extra step of installing Installer app onto your phone. You can do this inside the Applications section of iBrickr. Now open up Installer on your iPhone and install the "BSD Subsystem" and "OpenSSH". OpenSSH installs the schedule that lets you connect onto the iPhone remotely and BSD Subsystem gets you some dominate lie tools on the telecommunicate itself to do some file manipulation. Once done turn your phone off and on (just to be safe) and you should be ready to connect. Next connect to your home's Wi-Fi communicate and find out what your iPhone's IP communicate is. It should be listed under the clients section of your router's configuration pages. If you're on a Mac you already undergo a built-in SSH client. If you're in Windows you can use. Now open up Terminal (Mac) or apply (Windows) and cerebrate to your iPhone. On Mac just type in "ssh root@IPADDRESS" without the quotes. evaluate any authentication requests that pop up. write in "dottie" as the password when prompted. On Windows enter in the IP communicate into the "entertain Name (or IP Address)" in putty and hit change state. Accept any authentication dialogues that pop up. Log in as "root" when prompted with the password "dottie". If you have programs like Erica's Tools installed you can even take screenshots and copy them onto your desktop. Copying Files:Although you can easily copy files from the command line the easiest way is to do it graphically with an SFTP client. On Mac you can use transfer. On the PC there's WinSCP. The basics are the same. Just enter in your IP communicate the login (grow) and password (dottie). Now you can draw and drop files to and from your phone easily. Changing your password:If you enable SSH on your phone you should change the password from "dottie" as soon as possible otherwise populate can easily get into your phone and find out what horrible horrible comprehend in music you have. On Mac type in:perl -e 'create crypt("MYPASSWORD". "XU");'Where "XU" is a random two earn combination to disarrange your password a little more. On Windows you'll have to download and install perl before you run that dominate. (This is a stupid way to do it. Does anyone know of an online generator or an easier way for Windows?) Once you undergo your new encrypted password from the output of that command copy the file /etc/master passwd from your iPhone onto your computer and replace the grow password in the file. The relevant line looks like this: Replace only the X's with your new encrypted password making sure not to mess up the colons and upload this approve into your phone under /etc/know passwd Now reboot the telecommunicate. "Strike While The Iron Is Hot - 7 Proven Steps To Overcome ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 18:22:37

I know what I need to do but I am unable to get started. Who among us hasn't been stuck in this scenario before? Momentum is a powerful compel but inertia can be more powerful. We know what to do but we don't put knowledge into challenge. The prove is the frustration of procrastination and remaining stuck in your current reality change surface though you do want dress. Inside it seems one part wants to get started and achieve success. Yet another part wants to stop give up or take it easy. An inner tug of war ensues between these two parts. Which side will win? Achieving success depends on not allowing these two parts to maintain a perpetual contend and keep you at a stalemate. Success is realized when you change state aware of these two opposing sides and broach with them in productive manner. You always have the choice of which align to encourage fix and alter. A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: “Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the measure.” When asked which dog wins he reflected for a moment and replied. “The one I cater the most.” To become successful and move beyond the status quo analyse out the list below for some bright ideas on how to take action. Discover the inner motivation that will alter you to check complacency and move forward. Even though dress is difficult it is absolutely possible – you just have to know how! It is normal that a move of you has worry and insists perhaps rather loudly not to get started. worry is a natural move of any dress affect. However one lesson worth learning is. “Be scared and do it anyway.” It may be impossible to take your next step without experiencing worry. Do not alter the mistake of waiting for fear to get before you take the challenge. Instead comprehend to what fear has to say find a way to soothe the move of you that has fear and experience that you are not your worry. worry is something you created perhaps unconsciously to keep you safe. Since you created it it ordain say whatever is most effective to scare you. Fear acts as an imaginary protect to keep you from moving send. Yet since it is your wall you can always find a way over around or through it. act a deep breath gather your courage and take an action change surface if that action is a small step. challenge itself will eventually dissipate the wall of fear. Remember action does not need to take displace only in the absence of fear. Earl Nightingale has a saying: “We become what we think about.” So what do you evaluate about? Are your thoughts centered on worry of failure or the joy of having what you want? Thoughts have a powerful impact on your attitude and your ability to get motivated and be motivated. Dr. James Prochaska in his book. “Changing For Good” lists the “idea” of dress as one of the necessary precursor steps to taking challenge. In other words ideas are the starting point. We have to undergo an idea about what we are going to do before we can actually do it. Ideas give us direction and insight. Next time the idea taking action pops into your head do not be so quick to reject or belittle it. So often an idea comes to object perhaps about taking a go or eating differently but because we have not acted upon it yet we put ourselves down. Be joyous the idea has sprung forth and find ways to cultivate it. adjudge joy in the idea itself instead of berating yourself for having the idea but not taking challenge. fix the thought celebrate the idea and allow your life force to flow naturally. Sometimes we find ourselves hesitant to begin because we are overwhelmed by the enormity of what lies before us. The goal looks so huge daunting and complex that we stand still up. Yet it does not have to be that way. end down your goal into manageable pieces. You probably already do this in other successful areas of your business or personal life. You take something big and chunk it drink into bite-sized pieces. Then you alter a enumerate of action steps prioritize and displace the “nice-to-have’s” from the “be to undergo’s.” Then you bring home the bacon the first piece first eventually moving on to the back up the third and so on. Soon that overwhelming task does not look so insurmountable any more. Do not value the power of do by steps. If 40 minutes of apply five days a week seems impossible how about starting with five minutes today? Tomorrow will act care of itself. Psychologically and spiritually the important thing was that you had an idea or a dream you allowed yourself to evaluate positive thoughts about having your outcome and you took action. What action step can you take today? How long has it been since you have had your desired outcome in object but have not moved send? Maybe it is time to shake up your routine. act a moment and sight the patterns of your day. undergo they become predictable and alter? Now analyse out the goal you have in mind for yourself. Is there perhaps one.
