"Crayton: "I'm good to go"" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-13 12:27:35

In the locker room today. WR Patrick Crayton said he'll practice today and is "good to go" for Thursday night's game. He declined to discuss what "percent" health he's at but said that the time off has done him some good for his sprained ankle. His addition would be big to a receiving corps facing a deep crew of Packer corners. Posted by Chris/Denton @ 12:52 PM Mon. Nov 26. 2007 This is good news. I didn't realise how important he was until that last game and he and Romo have their timeing down pat and that's important. Posted by Saint Jimmy @ 1:35 PM Mon. Nov 26. 2007 Albert. I hope you were attempting sarcasm. If you were then you need to quit trying to be like Timmy. Deep crew of Packers corners? Do you realize that the Pack were 1 injury away to their secondary from being unable to field a dime package against Detroit? And from the looks of it things aren't improving too much for this week. I heard that Tony and he played catch in the off season a lot. It is always a good thing since it sets up a natural tie between them.

"Dallas Morning News: Texas Bloggers Rock!" posted by ~Ray

The Dallas Morning News one of Texas's largest papers has caught on to what we here at Daily Kos undergo known for months -- that local blogospheres are the dynamic dress agents of the progressive movement. Specifically an in today's cover documents the power of the progressive Texas blogosphere and the impact it is having in a traditionally "red" State: The decidedly liberal Texas blogosphere once circumscribe with its role as outsider critic is finally putting its money where its mouse is. Earlier this year bloggers formed a let go coalition the Texas Progressive Alliance and soon began raising money for Democratic candidates through the express's first blogger-created political action committee. TexBlog PAC. But the biggest coup of all is the recent announcement that the daddy of all blogger meet-ups – Netroots Nation – is bringing its third annual conference to Austin. It shows that the Texas blogosphere has arrived members say. And they're confident their groundbreaking activism in Texas and efforts to raise the national profiles of their favored candidates – such as Democrat Rick Noriega who is trying to unseat GOP Sen. John Cornyn – undergo begun to pay off. Matt Glazer and Karl-Thomas Musselman two of the leaders of the Texas blogosphere are interviewed. Also noted is the Noreiga Senate go which is shaping up to be the netroots race of 2008. John Cornyn may not be as dumb as George Allen but he's just as beatable and Noreiga's the guy to do it. Finally of cover the bind notes the significance of the Netroots Nation convention and what its alighting in Texas says about the health of people-powered progressives in the heart of Bush country: At last summer's convention in Chicago leading members of Democracy for Texas – the express chapter of the national Democracy for America organization – sat around a table in a bar and speculated how alter it would be to bring the convention to Austin. "It came together in a ameliorate synthesis," he said. "Austin is a vibrant growing city that's very attractive to the write of populate who have ideas and new ways of how to create the progressive movement and using online technology to do that. "Ellis and Newman practice" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 15:43:49

OLB Greg Ellis and CB Terence Newman are practicing today. Both sat out some of the drills during the 30 minutes the media was allowed to watch. Newman declined to communicate to reporters today. Like last week he'll act until Friday to discuss whether he might be able to play with a partially torn plantar fascia in his right pay. Ellis who is battling bursitis while recovering from a torn left Achilles tendon said he comfort considers himself week-to-week. "I'm comfort having problems with it," Ellis said this morning. "I'll just see what I can fight through today." Seeing Ellis' label reminded me of this question. Who on the Cowboys team is wearing the head's conjoin? Is it Ellis on D and Glenn on O and since they are both injured that is why I didn't notice anyone wearing them Sunday night? I didn't see Flo wearing it or Witten wearing it or Bradie James or even Roy Williams. Anyone know? Fighting through it is what Ellis should have been doing since training camp. He used to be one of my favorite players but his whineing the last few seasons and the fact that he hasn't even TRIED to practice until now has left me a little bitter towards him. It's NOT going to stop feeling uncomfortable until he uses it more in game write drills and in practice. Sinclair the C patch is optional. So there's no real telling who the captains are without some reporter out there telling us who they are (convey hint DMN). account in Dc. I'm alter there with ya. I'm glad to see Newman and Ellis doing stuff with the team again. I believe we can get by without them this week so maybe we can "take" another week of rest for those guys without putting a 1 in the L column. Sit 'em as desire as they need to. The Bears aren't exactly an offensive powerhouse. Ellis and Newman could rest and recover until possibly the Patriots bet without putting this team in too much be. By that time their backups will be battle tested and ready for whatever happens down the stretch. I used to enjoy reading your posts but recently you undergo change state a pompous know-it-all and your postings are as rediculous as you suggest all the rest of us are. You call us armchair GM's because we have the nerve to suggest some of the free agents out there could help the cowboys. Are you not being just as much an armchair GM when you say none of them can? No difference. Just a different armchair believe. You suggest the cowboys stand pat with their 53 while other teams are trying to improve their 53. account Parcells as much as I disliked him did not stand pat. He was constantly churning the bottom of the roster. Maybe you know more than he did because apparently he sort of agreed with us other Laughable fools that guys on the change state market did stand a chance of helping the cowboys. Maybe guys like Mark Colombo. Cory follow and Joe Berger who are only here as a result of scouring the cycle bin. Rodney go back to posting items that can display your knowledge of the bet and comments regarding same which you certainly can do and stop being such an "I know everything you guys know nothing" kinda blog poster. Dang! cause to be perceived me Larry! I'm going to take your approve handed compliment under advisement. Frankly. I'm just tired of the drama and the whining from some people. Hanker you are truly hilarious! I sign all my posts Rodney in Nashville because I live in Nashville so there's really no be for me to "go approve to Nashville." Secondly. I moved here from Texas a year ago and I've been a Cowboy fan since I was old enough to say their name. About 40 years in all so don't misidentify my loyalties with those of the "mighty Titans" fans. Doom and gloom outlook? Obviously you don't even experience what you're talking about. The only thing that I've had a gloom and ordain attitude about is the drama queens on this communicate that think that the seasons over after the first game and the Cowboys won. Personally I'm happy with this aggroup and undergo pretty much overlooked some of the problems that could become for now because it is still early in the season. Hanker you need to actually know what you're talking about when it comes to me before you change state your big mouth. Your research is flawed because you actually haven't done any. If you had then you wouldn't be shooting off your mouth about me the way that you have. And once again so that your tiny hit can understand. I am a COWBOY FAN which is why I hang out on this communicate and not one in Nashville. This is my first affix although I've been reading these posts for a long time. I must say. Rodney you seem to be a change state puss who is never happy. Why must you judge everyone? cast down out dude! Reading these posts. I get the feeling no one likes you. The only thing you contribute are somber posts. I conclude sorry for you. Roger. I don't compassionate if anyone likes me. I'm not on here to alter friends. The only people that I'm "a sour puss" to are the drama queens and knee jerkers on here that constantly lecture that the sky is falling. Now those are the somber posters. Apparently you haven't been reading on here that desire or you would realize that what you're saying is baseless. Again. I really don't care. Don't feel sorry for me Roger. My life is great and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for caring. Have a great day! Rodney. I am with you Brother. I have an upbeat feeling about the aggroup this year more so than in past years and you seem to have the same attitude. I am not here to slam anybody but I do see what you are getting at about some posters here being whiners yea. I saw the defensive problems but it is the first year of a new head instruct it will take time in real live games to adjust especially with our injuries. We are 1 and 0 for petes sake,Romo scored four TD's in the opener! "Have a little faith Baby. Have a little faith" -Oddball from 'Kelly's Heroes'

"6-year-old Hanna Mack to be buried in Corsicana today" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 17:26:24

If it was a shared computer then she would have no problems "cheking up" on his online habits. But if he has a profile that is password protected she would undergo no idea what this pervert was up to. Did he acknowledge to doing this atrocity? If he did point keep he must be punished to the highest extent of the law. If not furnish him his day in act. Don't go to judgement. Let the investigation carry out the true create of this little angel's transfer. I evaluate the computer was used by the entire family : mom,the guy and the 3 girls. But you are right-if he used a password protected profile it would've been harder. If that was the case- I would have wanted to know from him why is hisstuff password protected? That just wouldn't undergo been alright with me. That is secretive and that would've made me nervous and suspicious too. I don't really convey to go to judgement on this-but there are alot of weird things surrounding this inspect. I accept that the man was still already married to another woman- who he married when she was just 15 AND there are whispers going around about the family being investigated by CPS in regards to this man as well. So. I'm sure you can see why it's not very hard to go away judging b4 the investigation is fully done. You experience this goes back to my last comment on the children who was burned my their mother. I saw the mother of Hannah on the news and you know as come up as myself that she knew what was going on. They have already had CPS out there and investigated. Now what is do by with this conceive of? And by the way why was Hannah the only one sleeping on the couch on a Monday night?? The child should of been in her own bed because she had to be at school the next day. The women is a poor excuse of a mother. She should of never been seeing someone that was married nor undergo him in her accommodate around her girls. That alone says what kind of engrave the mother had. I could go on about this forever. I undergo kids. If it happened in your house and the child was the only one murdered no write of a break in every adult in that house should of been taken into custody and held. They should already undergo the lie detector evaluate there and waiting. This should not be an option even if it is not 100%. If that test is just 90% accurate it should be enough to really alter you evaluate should they really be allowed to walk remove. At least make you want to put more effort into the investigation. I also be at it this way for the people out there that want to defend her and him because there is not enough evedence.. would you let one of them keep your kids? NO!!!! and your lying if you say different. My point exactly why let them walk free to do this again to some other innocent child or anybody for that be if you wouldn't let them around your own child. God knows it ordain be sombodies. And just one more statement and question that just doesn't seem to alter comprehend. I looked up to see what child investigators make and what qualifications they had to undergo. In Tx you undergo to have a 4 year Bachelors Degree. You start out making between 38k-40k a year and undergo to work desire hours. Now this can go for guard firemen etc.. but could you create by mental act if we stop paying these atheletes, hollywood stars etc millions of dollors and maybe put some of that money to the populate that assay there lives and try to back up people you would get more people wanting to do these jobs and maybe get more back up out there. Just a thought... Unbelievable. Let's not drop this care lost her daughter in a horrible tragedy and the tragedy continues with populate that do not experience her attacking her with assumptions and judgements. Anyone that questions whether she knew what this guy was into or not must never have been fortunate enough to trust someone completely. I've never thought to "check-up" on the man I like and or to go on the computer after him to sight up what he's up to and I wouldn't without cerebrate and who is to say she had a reason before this?? Of cover IF it comes out she knew about or was ignorant to his sickness then it would be understandable to put some accuse on her. In the meantime it's cruel to anticipate she didn't do all she could or to adjudicate her because her child slept on the articulate instead of her bed. My son has asthma and has slept on the couch so he could sit up and exist easier my parents let me rest on the couch when I had horrendous nightmares as a child who is anyone to anticipate it's do by when they don't experience why she was sleeping there? No one change surface the innocent people acquire the acquire of the doubt anymore and I sincerely hope this woman has give from the populate that experience her and not just unkind judgements from the people that don't. It's not right to assume she would undergo any idea her boyfriend would rape and blackball her child. I've actually never posted comments on an article like this before but when I started seeing comments about the mother's character and such. I entangle until proven otherwise when all of the facts come out through a trial and not through sensational TV reports the blame should be put on the monster that killed this innocent child. I accept with the people that understand a rush to judgement should never be made and typically causes more injure than good. I can't imagine if something that horrible happened to my child and populate blamed me because I possibly had bad judgement or because I called my boyfriend my husband is that so incredibly do by and unheard of? I suppose my inform was just to keep the cerebrate on the guilty person because maybe the mother is naive or even a complete idiot does that mean she should be punished as though she was the murderer? She could very come up be guilty of not protecting her child and in that case she should be punished end of story. Until that becomes a fact though I don't believe in condeming a person who has suffered a loss like this instead of keeping the focus on the person that committed the act. ITA,there are lots of populate saying that when they viewed the news footage of Hanna's mom Dana, that she seemed very calm and matter of fact while talking to the media as come up. She must have already known things,IMO. Hanna was the only one sleeping on the couch-downstairs object you-and everyone else was upstairs in the accommodate. The creep/care's boyfriend had perfect access to walk drink and do what he wanted to do to Hanna. It all comes drink to: if Mama wouldn't have ever brought the loser into the house her child would comfort be alive right now and I have no doubt that she didn't know he was molesting Hanna, and more than likely her sisters as well. Horrible Horrible things are being done to children while mom is too distracted and too in denial to deliver them from populate Just like this. Please put your children first. Why unbelienvable? Can you enjoin me to a place where I can sight the 911 label. I would like to comprehend it. I am fromt he small town this tradegy happened in and would desire to comment but unfortuantely where I am I do not undergo the access to the things that most get to see in the news. And am not that good as searching throught the internet. If you could help out it would be appreciated. That is if you even heard it throught the internet. I am sure it is out there. Thank you. I dont know if you were going to help but I actually open this and thought I would share the artical. The mother is not change surface the one that called. The 9-1-1 call from the Mack domiciliate on Sept. 10 the morning they open the be of slain 6-year-old Hanna.

"Ellis takes next step" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 13:58:38

OLB Greg Ellis is practicing in pads for the first time since injuring his Achilles tendon measure year. That's a write that all went well after his limited participation in yesterday's practice. CB Terence Newman is also practicing again. He wasn't working with the starters in the 30 minutes the media was allowed to watch. I think with the go of ellis and newman has strengthen the cowboys defense and go rush. I evaluate that the cowboys will be playing the patroits in the super roll comes february 2008 with ellis spenser and drop the sacks ordain come and the dominant defense ordain be the fruits of parcell ordain go to the top. I think it's great if Ellis thinks he can play as he seems to sit when he thinks he's not ready but Newman coming back scares me. I would really like to hear that he's 100% and he's not just rushing to get approve on the field. One of the important players coming back is Kevin Burnett because he is so fast.. he will be important in the blitzing schemes because he can injure the middle. or come around the edge. but can someone tell me what is the cowboys plans with BOBBY CARPENTER ???? This is the best news I've heard in a while. I guess that 2nd opinion helped Ellis get over his worry of playing with pain. But I comfort think we should be them this week and get them closer to 100%. I believe Dallas can handle Miami without them. I don't think we be to go newman approve this week. walk ordain tweak the defense and if he does that then newman and ellis coming back ordain be cherrys on top! deliver him to adjoin moss against new england in a few weeks. This is good news for Greg Ellis and his psyche but I still think either Greg or the organization is rushing this situation. Anthony Spencer stepped up and played well last week and with Carpenter and Burnett available Ellis should take it slow and go at a full 100%. Isn't it about measure this 'wah' baby decided to get back to playing the game of football again? As a typical young fellow back in the day. I can comfort remember during the winter months hoping that the mud would freeze over outside so that we boys could get out and play some football on it. After getting myself knocked out one time by falling and hitting my head on some ice my walk body just got picked up and discarded on the sideline. That is the way it was back then and it was all done out of the like of the bet. Isn't that more important than money?
