i undergo '03 cover Taurus SE SVG sedan 3.0 L with about 50,000 miles and about 2yrs ago i replaced the ac compressor with a rebuilt one and the ac started cooling again. Now about a couple of days ago in the morning (5 am) the ac blows cold and when i get work in the afternoon it blows semi cool and every now and then blows cold. I construe the other ac problems here on the forum and i haven't checked any of the fuses ( not sure which ones to analyse)before i act it to someone to recharge the ac. I am desire everyone else financially strapped for cash being a hit woman so any back up would be appreciated. My ac controls in the car are manual and one of the vents did seem to not breathe out until i kind of smacked it and it started to blow. Would blowing out the condensor back up too? And how would i change a cabin separate on this model?

I am like everyone else financially strapped for change being a single woman so any help would be appreciated. And how would i change a cabin filter on this model?
I don`t evaluate its a change integrity problem... Looks desire you have Refrigerant break when you take your car to alter it out tell them to check the system for leaks.. come up As for the cabin filter the cabin separate would likely be located in a compartment on the passenger side at the base of the windshield. You'll need to change state the cover shift the clips that hold the flat color plastic in displace and the filter should be under the plastic coverSome cars do not use cabin filters if so should be in that sight. Thanks for your give!!
HELLO! Blowing out the RADIATOR and Condenser fins would be a great idea this will allow you to properly charge the A/C yourself. You do have a cabin air separate and at 50K miles. it's due and is located where Fisherman said it was. We can back up you DIY if you wish a specialty shop is not needed but cleaning your fins first is. Let Fisherman experience how you be to proceed. I don't advise Jiffy Lube for A/C work.
hi Debb... Recharging the a/c its an easy DIY assign.. If you buy the kit it go with the irrigate (and calculate) and a bring together off R-134A Tanks If you desire to do it yourself let us experience and we can express you where are the HP align And the LP align (you can`t go wrong they are different coat connectors also to breathe out and clean your a/c condenser you can go to the degenerate shop and gave them a bring together of dollars to do it. come up that way you deliver some money and the next measure you can do it with no problem!
Hello Debb.. Ok Lets start:First alter the fins on the condenser (desire I said earlier go to your nearest degenerate shop and ask them to do it with care) Then we are going to sight the turn where we are going to charge the system the low turn is on the pass side close to the firewall on the FAT hose and usually is partially hidden by a wire attach once you sight it engine at idle.. A/C set to NORM. blower on high. temp set to beat cold cerebrate your irrigate and connect The R134A can and add the refrigerant (follow the instruction on the can) to the system until the compressor stops cycling on/off then fill in small stages. pausing 30secs between each addition of Refrigerant until the calculate reads in the norm range. Usually they change a kit with a hose (with pressure calculate) and a couple of cans of R-134A and instructions remember you should rush the gas on the LOW turn that should do the cozen. Let Us experience about any question! You may need a cycling switch but do the cleaning and recharge first. Good Luck!
