To go away off with this Blog entry it took me a while to figure out how to actually preserve using your remote control on a DM500 since the Regular DM500 remote doesn't have the "VIDEO" add. Below is the beat pics I could sight of the two different remotes. The one on the left is the commonly supplied remote with the DM500 whereas the one on the right (grabbed via the web interface) is the one with the "VIDEO" aka PVR menu on it. If I could sight somewhere that I could buy the Fully Featured remotes cheaply I may look at doing that... Just for this intend. So what I do is re-program the "Yellow" button to be the PVR menu to enable PVR mode and then you can use the "communicate" add to start recording. To reprogram the yellow button you need to get into the "color" Menu from the Gemini visualise. Select the "Quickbutton Settings" as shown below: Then hit the "communicate" button to go away recording on your remote and the "TV" button to forbid recording.... EASY!On the network side you need to make sure you have a network mounted filesystem for the DM500. In the web interface (http://DreamIP) login with the fail username "root" and password "dreambox". Select the Config -> Mount Manager button. Then Add a new mount. The "Client Directory" should be set to "/var/mnt/hdd" which is the default mount directory for the Harddisk. "Server Directory" is the name of the share if you are mounting CIFS or SAMBA. It's also worth turning on "AutoMount" so it ordain mount each measure the DM boots. Save the attach in the Web UI. Last but not lease don't forget to act a directory called "movie" in the grow of the overlap. That is the place where the recordings ordain be put. any way i am not here to whine. I am feeling exceed change surface if i can't breath. I have been working on my new set of scrap papers for Dream Street for our release in January and since it has to remain top secret and i can't share any pics with you i thought i would share some of last weeks adventures on the football field and the goings on in Art's theater with you! Yes it is what you evaluate it is.... Turner was off on an assay of his own at Tyrus' football practice.. he came back with this fun prize to show us all... yuk! It is a mole~ he said it was doing convey thing to him?*(*^%???this child is something else... How many men does it take to act drink theater projectors.. hhhhmmmm? Here they are taking them apart.. Don. Cliff. Arli and the builder Dave in the accent. but wait. there was also Artie and Ken looking on(not in conceive of) they weigh cloes to 150 lbs each.. they are no more.. the end of an era.. the new projector will be up by this coming weekend... I started this adventure by adding stamped letters to a conjoin i made.. that was all she wrote. lol~! I am passionate about my art and my life! I have 6 children and a wonderful preserve that fills my life.. my art fills in the few gaps left over!~

This past Saturday we took the man of Boxing Buddies in training hiking. We had to forbid in Acton on the way to the Marshfield fair. What better than to letterbox seeing we were stopping to eat and off the highway anyway. We found three boxes and took some really good pictures. Hopefully we'll have another buddy or two ready to go by Friday. Cross your fingers. I also undergo to inform you that these new buddies had never been outside before and were pretty off the protect when we took them out. I'm sorry to all that read my blog. I've been so work lately that I haven't been able to modify. Since I last posted we went letterboxing 2 weekends in a row. We also went to the Marshfield fair. do work animals and demolition derby. Yay!(not) The do by was scared and everything was waaaaaaaaay toooooooooooooo expensive. ($3 for bottled water) We did get to go letterboxing beforehand and got three boxes. One of which I totally wanted before it was moved north for permanent planting. I've also been training boxing buddies making ltc's stamping many many postals and if you saw the pics of Mt. Letterbox. I've been trying to act up with the FlyLady. So far so good. Monday was Shoebee's birthday and today is Ferg's Bday and it's also the LB Brat's first day of 6th grade at the Middle School. Yay!!!! Ferg goes approve after fight day at his dad's house. Today he is 7. Finally now I shouldn't have to hear about his bday for another year.
