The Producers was amazing! There were numerous times in which I was in danger of passing out from lack of oxygen due to laughing! Cory English as Max was genius and Reece Shearsmith was a brilliant Leo! They were great together!I loved Stephen Weller as Roger DeBris. I think it's a pity he'll be pushed back to the move of Bryan when Peter Kay comes in. One inspect of my near-death-due-to-laughing was after he said the 'If I could store you up I'd serve you under my armpits everyday' line to Leo! He leant over him and Leo leant back they were almost nose to look and just stayed like that for change intensity a while as Leo pulled his cover out of his pocket. It was just hilarious especially when Leo turned and jumped into Max's arms. I don't know why it was so funny but the way Carmen Ghia walked off to get Roger was hilarious! He just stuck his arm out in a very Carmen-ish fashion and walked off but it was so slowly his touch was still in the spotlight and the theatre was laughing their heads off!Alex Giannini as Franz - I was laughing before he'd said anything! He was so perfect for that part! Nazi pigeons!! They change surface had the Adolf pigeon salute! Reece's dancing in Der Guten Tag Hop go was enough to get me crying with laughter add in Cory and Alex and I actually couldn't breathe!After Leo walks in on Max with the old lady and Max shouts at him and throws his cover - it landed on top of the set! Cory's reaction: I loved him!Do I even be to say the cover hysterics was priceless? Really? You all knew that!They had the 4 male dancers who played the accountants/IRS officers/Nazis etc also manifold as the Little Old Ladies. That was great to watch seeing as they were all considerably taller than Cory English!After the main move of 'Springtime for Hitler'. Roger (playing Hitler) sat on the advance of the stage to sing and was bouncing and waving in true Roger DeBris style then pulled his wig approve a bit and said and was pointing and winking at members of the audience then pointed and one looked around and mouthed Max's Irish evince FTW! Give it to me!' argument had me in tears of laughter!One of the funniest moments was during 'Betrayed' when he relays the whole show in practically a minute. Earlier in the show the interval had been after 'Along Came Bialy'. So Max gets to that bit in the song then shouts 'INTERMISSION' sat on his confine bed and rocked back and forth whistling and looking around the theatre then goes 'Nice theatre isn't it.... bit cold' then he acts like he's been given a tub of ice beat and says 'Oh thanks..... oh where's the spoon?.... oh it's in the lid! Clever..... It's tiny aww..... Yummm honey and spice...... what? TWO POUNDS SIXTY!?!?!' and then carried on with the song. It was just great! I undergo now seen both films and the stage show! Mel Brooks is a genius! *joins in the squee*It was abso-sodding-lutely awesome wasn't it?Annoyingly the lady just along from us decided to go to the loo (again! She did it in Act One too) during Betrayed just at the 'intermission' inform and went past going 'sorry sorry sorry' so I missed most of the lulz on that. Grr! And that's not in the film so it's one of the few bits I don't experience word for word!Leo in Max's arms FTW. Makes them even more slashable.
