Saturday we went to the Fall Festival at Leo Carrillo farm (where we are getting married!). Chris and Sarrah and Alexis. Pat and Aaron also joined us. See photos. It was a beautiful day and the sun finally came out after being MIA for several days (a rarity in SD). The go festival featured a chili cook off folklorico dancers and mariachis. The event also gave us a come about to show off our wedding location to our friends. Later in the day I (Jessica) got my hair cut super bunco! I don't think its been this bunco since I was 12. Saturday night we went to a Thai restaurant with friends Keith and Catherine and then played mini golf afterwards. Bill won by a landslide which is good because last time he came in dead last. I am beginning to evaluate he has been sneaking over there to learn. Today's another lovely day! Later on I am going to try on dresses with Alexis and account is going to do boy stuff in the yard with his new saw. Yippppeeee!

El fotomontaje es la técnica fotográfica que forma la composición de una sola imagen a partir de la reunión de dos o más fotografías. Ahora se tiende a definir como los procedimientos fotográficos —con técnicas de laboratorio como positivar uno o más negativos o bien mediante tecnología digital— más que el hecho de recortar y volver a ensamblar fotografías como se hacía en los primeros fotomontajes artísticos creados por los dadaístas berlineses. En el siglo XX el fotomontaje dio un giro radical a una de las características principales de la fotografía: la ilusión de realidad pues fabricó escenas ficticias hechas a partir de “pedazos de realidad”. El fotomontaje hace evidente cómo la fotografía es susceptible de ser manipulada para reorganizar o desorganizar la realidad. A continuación se presenta una visión panorámica de los orígenes históricos del fotomontaje como expresión artística y como medio de comunicación en Europa y en México. La manipulación de fotografías es tan antigua como la fotografía misma. En los libros sobre fotografía del siglo XIX se habla con entusiasmo de “divertimentos fotográficos” que se lograban retocando fotografías o a partir de la doble exposición de negativos de “fotografías de espíritus” (generalmente resultaban por un mal lavado de una vieja placa) de doble impresión de impresión directa de objetos en placas fotográficas y de fotografías compuestas. Recortar y pegar varias imágenes fotográficas solía formar parte del universo de los pasatiempos populares. Existen infinidad de postales cómicas. álbumes de fotografías pantallas y recuerdos militares realizados según la técnica que ahora llamamos “fotomontaje”. El arte del fotomontaje empezó en Europa justo después de la Primera Guerra Mundial. El término fotomontaje se inventó en el grupo Dadá de Berlín en Alemania. Mucho del trabajo dadaísta fue colaborativo así que varios miembros de este grupo reclaman la atribución de la palabra fotomontaje. La versión oficial es que cinco exponentes de Dadá trabajaron la nueva forma de montaje fotográfico entre 1916 y 1918: John Heartfield. George Grosz. Hannah Höch. Raoul Hausmann y Johannes Baader. El grupo de artistas dadaístas berlineses buscaba nuevas formas de expresión una que tuviera más significado que la abstracción pero que no fuera el uso de formas tradicionales de pintura y que fuera distinto del cubista. Pegaban fotografías junto a recortes de periódicos y revistas tipografías y dibujos para formar imágenes caóticas y provocadoras por su brutal desmembramiento de la realidad. “Montage” en alemán significa “línea de ensamblaje” y “monteur” significa “mecánico” o “ingeniero”. John Heartfield es el más reconocido artista del montaje fotográfico. Solía trabajar vestido con un overol de obrero y era conocido como Monteur Heartfield en reconocimiento a su actitud hacia el arte. Hanna Höche quien también producía fotomontajes dijo: “Nuestro único holdósito era integrar objetos del mundo de las máquinas y la industria en el mundo del arte”. La yuxtaposición de lo humano y lo mecánico fue un tema recurrente en los montajes de los dadaístas berlineses. Después de todo la fotografía se reconoce como un arte donde predominan el uso de máquinas y técnicas mecánicas. El fotomontaje pertenecía al mundo tecnológico al mundo de la comunicación de masas y de la reproducción fotomecánica y esas características interesaron especialmente a los dadaístas. Muchos de los fotomontajes rusos se destinaron a transmitir un mensaje político y renovador a través de la prensa escrita. Entre los rusos esta forma de expresión fue bautizada con el nombre de "Poligrafía” que implicaba la fusión entre fotografía collage diseño y tipografía pasado todo ello por el tamiz de la fotomecánica. Los constructivistas rusos apreciaron el fotomontaje por razones parecidas a los dadaístas berlineses. Los rusos sentían la necesidad de alejarse de las limitaciones de la abstracción el estilo dominante del arte de vanguardia sin tener que volver por ello a la pintura figurativa. de la publicidad y de la propaganda política: carteles portadas de libros postales ilustraciones de revistas y libros e instalaciones expositivas. La combinación de fotomontaje y las nuevas técnicas tipográficas se materializó en diseños audaces simples y llamativos. El fotomontaje político tiene un efecto poderoso porque los objetos que muestra son reales. En los decenios que precedieron al estallido de la Segunda Guerra Mundial el fotomontaje fue cada vez más utilizado por todas las fuerzas políticas de Europa y Rusia. Durante la Guerra Civil Española tanto el bando franquista como el republicano realizaron carteles con montajes fotográficos y en la Italia fascista de Mussolini también se recurrió de manera generalizada al fotomontaje. También aparece el foto-collage una mezcla de fotografía y collage donde se mezcla dibujo y fotografía para hacer sobre todo carteles publicitarios. Sin embargo el fotomontaje está más relacionado con la izquierda política. En la Unión Soviética se usó intensivamente enfocándose a la tarea de informar y persuadir al pueblo especialmente efectiva en un país cuya población no estaba unida por una misma lengua ni del todo alfabetizada. Uno de los más importantes “fotomontadores” de la izquierda política durante estos años fue el dadaísta John Heartfield quien hizo obras contra la República de Weimar y luego para registrar el terrible ascenso del fascismo y la dictadura de Hitler. Heartfield trabajó para la prensa comunista alemana pero tuvo que abandonar su país en 1933 y siguió trabajando desde Praga y luego desde Londres... Achei essa materiazinha no suplemento viagem do. Os caras fizeram uma seleção das melhores praias entre Los Angeles e San Diego — caso você como a Ana e o Paulo (que estão de !) resolverem rodar de carro por lá e só parar nas quentes. Ricardo,Parabens pela festa no terraço esta muito bem documentada o que importa mesmo é que todos gostaram e guardarão em suas lembranças os detalhes que eventualmente não uma ou outra foto não tenham registrado. Ao ver o litoral da California deu-me vontade de perguntar:Voce já escreveu alguma coisa especifica para o turista com mais de 65 anos saudável e com uma poupança que permita uma ou duas viagem por ano? eu pessoalmente conheço uma porção de pais de amigos que simplesmente não sabem o que fazer e onde ir apesar dos recursos que dispoem. Eu adorei San Diego - e o zoológico é fantástico (como toda atração americana tem até skyalguma coisa um teleférico por cima do parque que é ótimo pra voltar à entrada depois de muito andar lá dentro). Tá certo que eu fui em setembro mas achei muito doido o pessoal de biquini e moletom na praia (fora os surfistas todos de vestes de neoprene aquele negócio grudento que só mergulhador usa). A água era muuuuuuito fria - só enfiei o pé pra dizer que tinha enfiado o pé no Pacífico. E não não tem qualquer serviço de praia o pessoal que vai leva uns isopores gigantes. Sem falar em muito cachorro na praia que eu particularmente acho nojento. Sei lá mas acho que a gente tem praia muito melhor É só uma experiência sociológica legal ver como os gringos vão à praia… E nisso a menina vestiu o moletom de novo. com raríssimas excessões a agua é gelada e o vento idem. Na California então é bom para fazer filmes e olhar assim de longe ,não acrescenta nem uma virgula de satisfação para nosotros de um paistropicaliente. Mais pro sul pros lados do equador …até vai mas não é a minha praia não A principio o Pacifico o Mediterraneo e o Egeu tem agua gelada quasetodo o ano como diz o Riq : melhor para ver do que para usar ! Um carioca que costuma ir à praia (e entrar no mar) não estranharia tanto o frio do mar californiano tive uma experiência traumática com mar gelado em janeiro deste ano aqui no Rio (envolvendo meu tio do Paraná acostumado com Camburiú e outras praias sulinas) eu adoro a Califórnia e a paisagem das praias locais mas não entraria no mar lá. Essa nova vida bloguerística recém inaugurada já está rendendo algumas importantes honras… obrigada pela lembrança do nosso roteiro e menção ao nosso communicate… No assunto praias na California eu não conheço muitas tanto que iremos fazer o roteiro novamente agora parando nas cidades porém uma praia que tive o prazer de passar alguns dias foi La Jolla. É uma cidad ao norte de SD com restaurantes excelentes pousadinhas super charmosas e a praia LINDA… e como a Universidade da California (UCSD) tem o curso de oceanografia lá meio que torna-se uma cidade animada com bastante gente universitária. E não esquecendo que o sol se põe no mar a vista no finalzinho da tarde do pier onde ficar as focas é espetacular!!!Em SD mesmo. é como a Daniela disse não tem serviço de praia nem nada… mas vale a experiência que faz a gente levantar as mãos aos céus e lembrar que temos algo como Noronha… ufa! O ambiente é descontraído os lugares são legais a paisagem dos Coves é bacana pra quem gosta de caminhar fazer esportes aquilo ali é bem legal. Vale lembrar que San Diego desponta como um ponto gastronômico no sul da Califórnia e a região da rua Prospect em La Jolla tem ótimas opções de comida asiática (especialmente thai) mediterrânea e mexicana como era de se esperar. Bem acima daquela média americana tex-mex e chinese. Outra praia e cidade (a cidade não está junto ao mar) que curtimos muito foi San Luis Obispo. Um pouco ao norte de Santa Barbara. Uma parada perfeita para o roteiro pela US 1… Concordo 100% com o Jorge. San Luis Obispo é um charme de cidade. Como la tb tem uma universidade grande (CalTech) a cidade é lotada de gente jovem barzinhos com musica e um astral otimo. Ainda entre LA e SF tem Carmel que é linda de se ver. Ir à praia nem pensar!Discordo porem qto a media da comida americana. A California ( e a regiao da Baia da Sao Francisco) é o berço da cozinha Californiana moderna. Restaurantes otimos milhoes de opçoes de comida saudavel como thai,indiana,mediterranea e japonesa. Aqui vc nao consegue ter dose de junk food! Olha eu amo de paixão o Pacífico em todas as suas nuances de cabo a rabo mas também não consigo entrar na água da Califórnia pra cima. É tudo congelante. Engraçado é q do lado da Ã�sia a água não parece tão gelada quanto por ali. Devem ser as correntes marinhas que banham a costa oeste americana. Eu adorei Santa Barbara que fica mais pra cima; ao sul de LA minha predileta foi Laguna beach. Huntington land.

has any one ever dived at leo carillo north of zuma land. i visited there today with family and it loooked like there would be alot of look for with the surrounding kelp and kayakers fishing. and the nice rocks all around the wet visibility looked really good. soo i was just wondering if anyone has dived there and how did it go ??thanks... Yes there are look for there on the reefs. You can see the sections that are decent from the land the boiler offshore(Harrison's reef) and the deeper kelp beds. Halibut diving can be good there too. If the visibility is good take advantage. Because that displace is usually pea soup or inform cook. the word Fishing infers the probability of failure. go killing.- Making the waters safe for Spearo's one baby Mako at a measure.‹^› ‹(•¿•)› ‹^›- apply long walks on the beach and the dining experiance of grilled cease sandwitches and top ramen.

I think 2/3 of the people on my pass list will be getting scarves this year! It's a great way for me to know new stitches as well as use up the delicious I've accumulated in the past few months.. and of course beat of all. I get to furnish something personally made with like for each recipient of such an item. This is a fuck off I made for my mom. The yarn is a little scratchy so I made it more of a stylish accessory than a keep-you-warm write of scarf. With my mom's red hair these colors will stand out nicely on her I evaluate. They yarn is from Italy and called (2005 collection #4072) and has a brush aside mermaid sheen to it. I crocheted horizontally single single half double half double and repeat until I got to 5 inches by 5 1/2 feet long (petite mom) and then added a 5x1 shell advance to give it a little ruffle. The next scarf is for my munchkin and his love of orange. I was at a 50% off sale on Saturday and Em picked this pretty orange yarn.. super soft! But. I have no idea what it is and there was only one skein so I'll be making him a fuck off and hat with this and some funky black yarn from my stash. I'm going to try to add either some bobbles or puffs to furnish it a bit of character. I'm off to get Em ready for his first day of homeschool! Since this month is Child's Safety month we'll be working on safety lessons --knowing how to dial telecommunicate numbers cut care kitchen compassionate etc. Also our field trip this week will be to (named after the conservationist) to visit the tidepools and work on observation and counting. work work!! Funnily enough. I don't make scarves for my mum. I get her to alter them for me. measure time I tried knitting I was doing it alter but thought I wasn't so gave up lol. I love reading about what homeschoolers get up to. I undergo no idea why. I just think its such a cool thing to do with your kids. Aimee and Vadid got married at one of our favorite locations…Leo Carrillo farm.  We love it not only because there are plenty of places to injure but because of it’s privacy and rustic setting.  And when the sun started to set behind the tall check of trees it created a magnificent warm glow on the flagstone dancefloor which coincidentally occured at the same time Aimee and Vadid shared their first move.   Aimee & Vadid -  You guys are the kindest most easy-going populate ever.   We had a make noise photographing you!  And Aimee you looked gorgeous…you made our job so easy with all your posing know-how. :)  Vadid you looked pretty hot yourself!  We desire you guys all the happiness in the world!     So we ran into a peacock checking himself out on the limo door.  He was pretty pissed at his reflection!
