– The fear Leo men’s basketball aggroup (3-1) cut 77-51 on the road to Flagler College (3-2) at the Flagler Gym on Saturday night.  The loss was the first for the Lions in 2007-08. Saint Leo was led by junior (North Port. Fla.) who scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds in defeat for the Lions.  Flagler guard Lyndon Merthie led all scorers with 19 points while Bryan Borstelmann (17 pts.. 12 reb.) and Ben De La Cruz (17 pts.. 15 reb.) both had double-doubles in the win. The Lions scored the first five points of the bet and led 13-12 with 12:05 left in the opening half.  However. Flagler took control of the contest with a 23-0 run and eventually led 48-20 at the half. The Saints stretched the lead to a game-high 34 points early in the back up half and although Saint Leo outscored the home team 31-29 in the second frame the closest SLU could get was 24 points. Flagler shot 44.3% from the field compared to 40.8% for fear Leo and the Saints outrebounded the Lions 41-35.  Flagler also buried eight three-pointers compared to just one made three-point field goal on the night for Saint Leo. I think the generation gap is all about the cultural gap. Do you think the generation gap is a horizontal gap or a vertical gap?I undergo seen and heard many failure stories of English Ministries of Korean churches trying to reach out to Korean-American 1.5 and 2nd generations. I think churches have been trying to bridge the horizontal gap between 1st generation and 1.5 and 2nd generations. I evaluate churches have been trying to find and put different shapes and styles of bridges between the gap. I think the generation gap is the vertical look not the horizontal gap. If we agree that the generation gap is all about the cultural gap then it is not a new thing at all. This cultural gap had been existed since the church started. There was a huge gap between Jews and Gentiles. I think churches be to look at the each generation as a mission field. As Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:19-22. “19.
